Dapeng Fortress, known as “Dapeng Guardian City”, is located in Pengcheng Community, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is a military fortress of China’s coastal defense in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is known as “Dapeng is the most important of all the coastal cities”. Dapeng Fortress was built in the twenty-seventh year of the Ming dynasty Hongwu (1394), that is, the coastal defense post, has a history of 610 years, the city plane is nearly trapezoidal layout, covers an area of about 100,000 square meters.
