Hengqin Wetland Park is located in the west of Hengqin New Area, Zhuhai. The wetland covers a total area of more than 300 hectares. It is a precious coastal wetland resource in Hengqin New Area, a natural base for the historical growth of mangroves, and an important stopover on the East Asia-Australia flyway. COSUN provides signage design, production, and installation services for Hengqin Wetland Park.

At Hengqin Wetland Park, the signage system needed to be more than functional — it had to enhance the visitor experience, support intuitive navigation, and reflect the ecological values of the park. Welcoming Entry: Park Entrance Illuminated Monolith

The journey begins at the gateway. We designed and installed a striking park entrance illuminated monolith that serves as both a landmark and orientation point. With integrated LED lighting and weather-resistant materials, this illuminated feature ensures visibility day and night, reinforcing branding while making a bold first impression.

Interactive Orientation: Outdoor Map Digital Kiosk

To support visitor engagement and self-guided exploration, we implemented outdoor map digital kiosk units throughout the park. These kiosks provide interactive, up-to-date park maps with zoomable trail routes, point-of-interest highlights, and event information. The ruggedized touchscreen and anti-glare display make it usable in all weather conditions and lighting environments.

Easy Navigation: Trail Directional Wayfinding Signs

For seamless movement along hiking paths and natural corridors, custom trail directional wayfinding signs were positioned at key intersections. These signs utilize clear language, consistent iconography, and durable materials designed to withstand outdoor exposure.
