Engineering Context

Zhuhai Hengqin Port is a major cross-border transportation facility connecting Hengqin and Macao. The port operates 24 hours a day and integrates multiple transportation modes, including buses, taxis, urban rail and cross-border commuter services. In 2023, approximately 16.7 million passenger movements were recorded through the Hengqin Port inspection area, illustrating the high-frequency operating environment in which the signage system has to function.
